Holliday Development and Metrovation bring decades of mixed use development experience to the Capitol Lofts project. Holliday Development has spent 20 years on adaptive reuse projects throughout the Bay Area, pushing the design envelope on innovative and flexible live-work communities.
Metrovation shares Holliday Development’s passion for original, high quality work that stimulates growth while remaining true to the communities in which they work. With over a decade of residential, office, retail, and hotel property experience, Metrovation is behind landmark projects such as the Hotel Healdsburg and 200 Second Street.
In addition, this development is a Research & Development project for NREL (National Renewable Energy Lab) and SMUD (Sacramento Municipal Utility District). Together, we are analyzing the potential implementation of the maximum sustainable technologies to achieve a reduction of over 50% of the project’s energy consumption and achieve LEED Platinum. The project will be monitored, documented and toured as a model example of sustainable design.
